Gordon was such a lovely gentleman and I was privileged to have known him , all be it a short time. I have fond memories of playing a few games of snooker with Gordon and also of him showing me his photographic history books of Gateshead, which I loved . He was also so proud to show me his many sporting trophies too .But the best memory I have of Gordon is his doting love for Margaret and his beautiful singing voice . He will be sadly missed .
Much love

As we build up our thoughts and memories leading up to Dad’s funeral its quite overwhelming to know how many people thought so highly of my dad. We’ve had some lovely thoughts from our lovely family and friends. It reminds me of the words that My Uncle Gordon said when my Dads sister Margaret passed away:. It was something like: its not the physical acquisitions that you have with you when you die, its the people around you (passed and present) that count.
